Hi David,
I'm sorry but there is no way to import reference from other applications.
You will have to enter the references using the Edit Reference wizard.

Regards
Chris

Hi MBlair,
What is the exact text of the error you are receiving?
Could you reply to support@perrla.com so that we can work on this in a bit quicker way?
Thanks
Chris

Hi!

Can you send your graded paper over to support@perrla.com so we can take a look? Then we should be able to tell what went wrong.

Hello I have been using Perrla for almost two years, it has made life so much easier and for that I thank you. I am having an issue though. I recently switched to Microsoft Word 2010, the last two papers I submitted were fine on my computer, but when I received my feedback the papers were not correct and lost the headers. In addition it was no longer centered. I know there must be something I am doing wrong. Please help.

We're working on a PERRLA native iPad App that you can use to create citations/references for Pages.

Because Apple's Pages software doesn't allow developers to create directly integrated software (like Microsoft Word does), we won't have an integrated solution for pages. But, hang on until August 2012 for our iPad app. It should do what you need...

thanks,
Cliff

Perrla Site and Activation

Because our software allows you to manage your own activations... enabling you to deactivate it on old computers and reactivate it on new computers... our software requires that it "calls home" once every couple of weeks to verify that your software is registered. (Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who would give our software away to others for free. And, since we have babies that need shoes, etc., we needed a way to help cut down on the pirating of our software.)

For the majority of our customers it's not an issue since their computer is connected to the internet and the verification happens in a blink of an eye. But, if your computer is NOT connected to the internet when you run PERRLA, and it's been at least 2 weeks since the last time PERRLA has verified your status, you'll be prompted to connect your computer to the internet.

NOTE: There IS a work-around available for people whose computers are never connected to the internet. Contact our Customer Support team for more information.

Originally, I had three issues with Perrla. The biggest issue is the activation. It is still unwieldy. My biggest issue is the constant validation issue every 15 days. This is poor programming and unprofessional. I've worked with other software, such as Rosetta Stone, and do not have an issue with any of their software. I recommend Perrla make changes to this validation issue. I can not recommend this product because of validation issues.

Hi! If you want to add your matrix to a PERRLA paper, just copy the matrix and paste it into a 'New PERRLA Paper'. PERRLA will automatically create your title page and help you format your references.

Microsoft Word is still handling the formatting of your matrix or table. If you are having trouble adding text to it properly, check out the Word Help file (F1) for more information on adding tables.

Hi, I am just learning PERRLA. I have a paper due. The instructor gave us a blank matrix it has three columns and three rows with her asking for specific information. I need a title page, reference page and this matrix submitted in APA format. how do I add the matrix to the paper correctly. When I type in the matrix I need 200 words or more in each section. How do I do this as it is creating skinny long columns and I need to keep the 1inch white space all the way around it. I have attached for you to see. I will also attach the assignment instuctions. Thanks for any help.

Hi! The way you insert a table will depend on what version of Word you are running:

For Word versions prior to Word 2007:

Click on Table -> Insert Table.
There you will select the number of rows and columns, and then click the Auto Format button.
There select Table Grid. After you click OK a couple of times, your table will be there.

For Word 2007 or 2010:

Click the Insert menu tab
Within the Table Group, click on Table
Click on the Insert Table... menu choice
Set the number of rows and columns
Click OK

For more information on adding tables, check out the Word help (F1).

Tried loading PERRLA on my macbook. It loaded but once I try running it, the program stops at MY PERRLA papers is a bad path, please correct the path. PERRLA customer support tried to reload and troubleshoot the issue... They could not evolve the issue and stated a developer would have to look at it. I have a paper due on Monday and would love to be able to use this program, anybody else have this issue.... any help on this issue from the users would help.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately did not work. Every time I change a page number the previous and the next copy the same number.

The idea on this paper is to:
• Title page without number
• Table of content 2 pages only with footer (i, ii)
• Starting on the 3rd page Introduction with heather: running head to the left, page number to the right (1,2,3..)

Thanks again for your time,
Joaquin
