I have several iPhone apps that i use and need to reference in APA format. Any idea how to do this? For example, I have the APA Dictionary and the DSM V as apps on my iPhone and cannot find a way to enter them as references.

Mobile App reference types are a subcategory of PERRLA's Data Sets, Software, Measurement Instruments, Apps & Apparatus category.

There are 2 examples below.

Entire Mobile App

Deglin, J. H., & Vallerand, A. H. (2010). Davis’s Drug Guide for Nurses (12th ed.) [Mobile application software].

Entry in a Mobile App

Diabetes. (2011). In Epocrates Essentials for iPhone (Version 3.14) [Mobile application software]. Retrieved from http://epocrates.com/products/iphone
